The second of January (2nd Jan) is a holiday in Scotland. It is a day to recover from the excesses of Hogmanay.
The twenty sixth of December (26th Dec) is a holiday in the UK. It is called Boxing Day.
What are some of the many festivals or celebrations in Spain?
The twenty fifth of January (25th Jan) is Burns Night in Scotland. It is an evening when we celebrate our national poet : Rabbie Burns. Men wear the national dress - the kilt. People eat traditional food - haggis. And of course, everybody has some of our favourite drink - whisky.
